The Scariest Thing I've Ever Seen

It's Sarah Palin's ABC interview here. It really is all about winning (power), isn't it?

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Update: This link now goes to the segment of the interview in which she discusses domestic policy. It originally went to the foreign-policy segment, which I cannot find now on the ABC site.

I've been trying to avoid watching this stuff, but from what I've seen it's hard for me to figure out who I should be most scared of. McCain and Palin seem to me to be extremely insecure beneath the surface, a bit shaky and uncertain about everything they say, and I have images of Barney Fife with his trembling finger on the button. Obama though, seems really confident. I'm not sure which is worse. Last night I caught some of Obama sounding to me like Mussolini, calling for EVERYONE to serve the glorious nation in some way...sounded to me like a not so subtle call for a draft and mandatory national service.

And he's promising to spend tons of money on "service" programs. McCain is not.

I think what's scary is the way Gibson's treating her. So much for the objective and unbiased *snork* press.
