Greatest Commercial Ever?

I can't resist sharing this classic Coca Cola commercial. It brings a tear to my eye. Watch the men's faces closely. The spot says so much -- far more than Coke intended, I'm sure -- without a word spoken.

"Classic"? It's from the 2011 Super Bowl.

I don't watch the Superbowl. I thought it was older.

By the way, "classic" also means belonging to the highest rank or class. In fact it's listed as the first definition at thefreedictionary.com. So I'm okay.

Hi Sheldon, I didn't watch the Super Bowl either (I had seen the commercial before courtesy of Google News Top Stories). And yes, I know "classic" means more than "vintage."

Looks very much like the ridiculous India-Pakistan border charade at Wagah, including the colour of the uniforms.

Thanks, I hadn't seen this.

Reminds me of a beautiful movie on the same theme called Joyeux Noel (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424205/)

Thanks for the movie reference. It goes to the top of my Netflix queue.

When Cokes don't cross borders, armies will.
