America's Counter-Revolution
The Constitution Revisited

From the back cover:

This book challenges the assumption that the Constitution was a landmark in the struggle for liberty. Instead, Sheldon Richman argues, it was the product of a counter-revolution, a setback for the radicalism represented by America’s break with the British empire. Drawing on careful, credible historical scholarship and contemporary political analysis, Richman suggests that this counter-revolution was the work of conservatives who sought a nation of “power, consequence, and grandeur.” America’s Counter-Revolution makes a persuasive case that the Constitution was a victory not for liberty but for the agendas and interests of a militaristic, aristocratic, privilege-seeking ruling class.

Beware the Campaign for War against Iran

The American people were stampeded into war against Iraq through a shameless propaganda and disinformation campaign led by government officials and facilitated by prominent newspapers. We must not let the same thing happen with Iran.

Iran Exposes U.S. Hypocrisy The Most:

The Iranians hate the Israelis, so the U.S. has always picked on them. So the Iranians had to become economically self-sufficient to survive embargoes imposed by the UN instigated by the U.S.

The butcher (George Bush), an infamous pathological liar, tells everyone Iran has nuclear weapons. If I were Iranian I would want my country to have nuclear weapons to protect my country (Iran) from the worst bully the U.S. (the only country to ever use nuclear weapons on innocent women and children.)

Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons, but should have them, more so than Pakistan or India. If the U.S. has nuclear weapons then any country has a right to have them.

Obama had to agree to tax cuts because the govt (the Congress) now knows China is prospering so much it will easily be able to afford advance weapon systems and a powerful military and then be able to dominate both the U.S. and the Russians (militarily).

Any country without a strong military (for defense) is always at risk. Any home without firearms is always at risk of violent invasion.

China will easily land astronauts on the moon AND have plenty of orbiting satellites. Yes, China has a history of being pacifist and isolationist. Seldom has a China govt ever invaded another country. The Totalitarian China govt imposes the rules of capitalism the best and will become the most prosperous nation.

Can you see the hypocrisy and idiocy of George Bush preaching to the China govt ? He has trampled the Constitution and nearly destroyed our economy (rendering us vulnerable to China) AND he talked of invading Iran (further provoking the China govt). Talk about poking a stick into another hornets nest.

Because of Bush (not because of Terrorism) even Russia is building up its military.

Bush proved if he could be president anyone can be president. The Bush lovers will forever say "Bush kept us safe" (the idiot nearly got us all killed for want of invading Iran). Lets leave Iran alone, mind our own business, and focus on our own major internal problems (created by two fk-ups, the butcher and Condi Rice). Oh the hypocrisy !!

Here is my Bovard blog post (to tell Sheldon about Paul's wiki speech...the utube speech):

Ron Paul says Wikileak snitched on the Saudis for financing Terror.

Apparently, Bush hit the wrong target. We should demand he get an eye exam.

Also, Paul is now in charge of a Fed Reserve Board comittee. Someone should tell him (secretly) most members of the House won't have a clue about the Federal Reserve (wink). He can do almost anythng he wants. They would never learn the truth. Yes, the Senate is another story, but still. Most members of congress have no idea the purpose of it.

Off-topic: Obama allowed a tax reduction for social security tax. This sounds like a very bad idea (tax cuts are a good thing). Someone tell Paul to never allow the underfunding of the Social Security retirement fund. See if he can explain the tax reduction. Sounds like a very bad thing to do.
