Unfortunately the only Presidential candidate who understands this is crumbling thanks to a scandal of his own making. I don't know where pandering (or, at the very least being complicit in pandering) to some of the worst parts of American society ranks compared to advocating a war that will kill hundreds of thousands of people (at the very least) among numerous other abominations, but thanks to that appallingly stupid, misguided, and reprehensible endeavor, the most visible standard bearer for foreign policy decency has been discredited, fairly or not. Thanks to Murray Rothbard and company, libertarianism, the only socio-political philosophy consistent with human dignity and freedom is being drawn through the mud by the ignorant and malevolent. Sorry for the rant but I am furious.
