Staying Home

That's what I'll be doing today.

I guess that's one way to avoid the obnoxious peer pressure to vote. Unfortunately, I can't work from home.

I wish I had peer pressure to vote. It would give me further satisfaction in not voting. I will be at an election "party" tonight with a group of Obama idolaters. We'll see how that goes.

I can tell you from first hand experience (peer pressure to vote), the more frustrated my peers get at not being able to convince me to vote, the more satisfying it is for me. I hope you have a very satisfying evening, Sheldon.

I actually stayed home from work altogether, just to avoid the barrage of "Did you vote??" questions that people feel compelled to ask.

All day today, they asked me if I voted for Obama or McCain.

I wish that they had a "None of the Above" selection like in some countries.

I wore my "Don't vote, it only encourages them" shirt today. I got so many glares. I also flipped off the pro vote propaganda chalk covering my college campus -- especially the much hated "If you don't vote, you have no right to complain."

It was a depressing day that further confirmed how unpopular my views are, and just how much people are attached to these harmful absurdities.

I voted for None of the Above for Prez, and Libertarian for PA stuff, but well done for defying the masses and not voting at all. My dad did the same. Clearly you both just don't care about politics at ALL.

Yea for principled non-voting!
