The public opposition to closing Guantanamo was disturbing on 2 levels. One in and of itself. Secondly, and even more troubling in my view, is that it is a very clear indicator that most Americans have bought into the whole WOT mentality, hook, line, and sinker. The reaction to the assassination of OBL has recently confirmed this.
