Health-Care “Reformers” Duck the Hard Questions

Advocates of what is called health-care “reform” must lack confidence in their case. Were they sure that more government control of medicine and medical insurance was a good thing, they would answer the opposing arguments rather than marginalize their adversaries as corrupt or crazy.

  1. Sheldon—

Every time you write an article about the continuing seething conundrum unfolding throughout the Obama administration, I reflect on why I left the United States so long ago. (31-years) You already know this by previous comments I’ve made to you.

How much of this governmental nonsense (crap) will you take, especially if Obama’s disastrous programs are implemented? Now under H.R. 3200 the IRS and Social Security Administration (and god knows how many other government lackeys) will share pertinent information secured from your tax returns! Oy! American scruples have taken leave... How sad to watch a nation’s people take leave of their senses, although not surprising due to the already mentioned thoughts: The raving success of the American government-controlled school system! Could such self-inflicted terminal stupidity be reversed? I think not. This American debacle will play out to its tragic end. At my age I probably won’t be around to see it, although one never knows!

I’ve tried unsuccessfully on several occasions to convince J.G. Hornberger to get the hell out of Dodge. He, I think, truly believes “fighting the good fight” will produce results leading back to freedom, liberty, privacy, economic privacy and protection of private property rights. Not in his lifetime ... or yours Sheldon. You can take that to the bank. And now, should this medical health care disaster come to fruition, what then? (Intertrade, at this time shows no real success of Obama’s current plan.) Will the government bring its “guns” to bare on those individuals that refuse to abide, to sign up, merely wishing to be left alone? (Example: Seize your bank account; punish you in a court of decree as an example for all to see, or even personal confrontation to show you who Big Daddy is...) I’d bet they would! Another example of why America is a good place to be ... from. Each to his own, huh? Americans will bend over; just shut the hell up and take it! Obama: Long live fascialism!
