Mr. Obama, What About Tomorrow?

The Obama administration’s $275 billion bailout for mortgage lenders and troubled borrowers once again shows that “tomorrow-be-damned” thinking still rules the White House. President Obama has clearly dumped the Clinton administration’s theme song, “Don’t Stop Thinking about Tomorrow.” (Not that Clinton or his successor took the lyric to heart.)
The rest of this week's op-ed, "Mr. Obama, What about Tomorrow?" is at The Future of Freedom Foundation website.

  1. Can't disagree with your arguments, but I think you're being far too diplomatic. I'm hopping mad about what they're doing to this country. If these people aren't stopped, America will become a hell hole. It's like watching a slow motion train wreck, and we're on the train.

  2. Steve, America has already become a hellhole. Much as I hope that I'm wrong, I see complete collapse as our future due to the simple fact that most Americans don't stop playing with fire until after they've suffered third-degree burns - and usually not even then. Witness the continuing "Obamamania", even as the Anointed One, not yet even a calendar quarter into his presidency, is making clear his intention not only to continue the reckless and criminal practices of his predecessor, but to add new abominations to the list.

I don't think we're facing a mere train wreck, but a seismic implosion of the earth underneath the tracks that will swallow the entire railroad.
