McCain vowed recently that "I will never surrender in Iraq, my friends. I will never surrender."
As if ending the invasion and occupation of a country that did Americans no harm -- acts that have spawned terrible hatred and a passion of vengeance -- would be anything like surrender. On the contrary, it would be liberating for Americans and Iraqis alike.
And all this "I will never surrender" talk is coming from the only candidate who actually has surrendered to the enemy. He should really be saying "I will never surrender again."
ReplyDelete'Course, if we hadn't 'surrendered' in Vietnam we wouldn't have to listen to his blather - he'd still be sitting in a room at the Hanoi Hilton.
ReplyDeleteAu contraire,
ReplyDeleteIf we hadn't surrendered in Vietnam it would be the 51st state and McCain would be the Viceroy of Beijing and peace and harmony would flourish in the world under the benevolent eye of CEO Jesus.
Get ready! Faux news and the Bush supporters are already laying the ground work, that Bush has WON Iraq. so if Obama wins the Presidency, the meme can be implanted into the American Unconscious that Obama and the "Defeat-o-crats" LOST Iraq.
