I do think there are two things government are good at. Mass Murder and theft, and considering how many tax resisters there are out there it's not even that good at the latter.
Not to show my age or anything, but I remember when he said it. It was reported in the papers at the time. That was his reaction to learning that he had to pay a marginal income-tax rate of over 100 percent. I guess that changed under Thatcher.
